Jannie and Jonathan chose Abbazia san Pietro in Valle to tie the knot. This abbey was an old monastery now the scene of beautiful weddings.
Abbazia San Pietro in Valle is among the greenery and the quiet nature of this region of Italy Umbria. Its rooms are gorgeous, and Jannie got ready in one of them.
But what is an elopement wedding?
An elopement means tying the knot and celebrating with just yourselves or a small gathering with a few of your guests.
The elopement wedding focuses more on you and your partner than your guests, as in many big weddings. It's a celebration of your love with all the intimacy you can have in a romantic venue.
We breathe a magical atmosphere during Jonathan and Jannie's ceremony.
The ceremony
The officiant, Stefano Mordivoglia, celebrated the venue in the garden with a breathtaking view of the hills surrounding it. Luisa Gervasi realized a beautiful arch decorated with roses of the delicate colour pink. Simply perfect.
As the Jewish tradition, they drank wine, and then Jonathan broke the glass. Everything was emotional, and both were full of love and happiness.
Love was in the air because, after that, there was the first dance with the music of a violinist. It was the epic of this wedding elopement.
In this relaxing mood, Lorenzo and I took photos of them. We took advantage of the beautiful place of Abbazia San Pietro in Valle: every cornet was the perfect set for the shooting. Jonathan and Jannie felt so comfortable in front of the camera.
It was a fantastic day. They were a sweet and kind couple. We wish you the best.
Enjoy their photos!
